Job description

Role: Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, voice, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting.

• Key Duties: Create personalized treatment plans, perform screenings, educate patients and families, report progress, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months experience (1 year preferred), ASHA-SLP certification, state licensing, BLS certification, and ability to perform physical tasks such as standing and walking for extended periods.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology; excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Additional Requirements: New graduates encouraged to apply; additional certifications may be needed prior to assignment.
