Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Cleburne, TX. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and swallowing disorders across diverse ages, design personalized therapy plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Required: valid SLP license and current BLS. Preferred: Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC-SLP.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology; CCC-SLP; SLP experience; additional licenses or certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse ages.
• Design personalized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Document progress and maintain accurate EMR records.
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain safe treatment environments and adhere to infection control standards.
• Engage in professional development and quality assurance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
