Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Waco, Texas. The role involves evaluating and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders across diverse settings, with a strong emphasis on patient and family education and documentation.

Ideal candidates hold an SLP license, BLS, and prefer CCC-SLP; new grads are welcome and supported. Travel benefits and a collaborative clinical team accompany this assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred).
• CCC-SLP (preferred).
• New grads welcome to apply and pursue CCC-SLP.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessments and goals.
• Document progress and maintain EMR accuracy.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care.
