Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for an immediate opening in Quincy, FL. The position requires 6 months of experience (exception for strong backgrounds) with ASHA-SLP certification and BLS.

Responsibilities include evaluating and planning care for diverse patient populations in acute care settings, with full-time travel shifts. The role offers 13 weeks duration, 40 hours per week, days shift, and a tax-free stipend arrangement.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
