Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Tazewell, VA. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, developing personalized plans and documenting progress.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and maintain compliance with safety and infection protocols in a fast-paced travel setting. Benefits are competitive.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and current state compliance.
• Active BLS certification required (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and home exercises.
• Maintain infection control and safety in the treatment setting.
• Remain current with best practices in speech-language therapy.
