Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Burkeville, Virginia. The therapist will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders in diverse settings, with a 40-hour workweek and 8-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Active SLP license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification required.
• CCCSLP/ASHA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans with evidence-based practices.
• Document progress accurately in the EMR and coordinate with care teams.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
