Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Gloucester, VA. The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across patient populations, delivering individualized therapy plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

You will work 40 hours per week, dayshift, with start date 10/19/2026. Requirements include an active SLP license and BLS; a Master’s degree and CCC-SLP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred)
• CCC-SLP certification preferred
• Experience in speech-language pathology is welcome; new grads considered

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
• Design and implement individualized therapy programs
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and progress notes
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled treatment environment
• Pursue ongoing professional development and QA initiatives
