Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Eureka, CA. You will assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders, preparing individualized plans to improve patient outcomes while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active State license as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or higher is preferred.
• CCC-SLP certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse patients.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals.
• Document progress and maintain the EMR with accurate notes.
• Educate patients and families on therapy strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
