Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment in Glenville, West Virginia. This position requires 40 hours per week, daytime shifts, and travel employment status.

1 year of experience is preferred, with 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates; BLS and ASHA‑SLP national certification with state licensure are required. The SLP will evaluate and treat speech, voice, and swallowing disorders and develop plans of care for varied patient populations in

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads may apply with appropriate background.
• BLS and ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state licensing are required.
• SLP should have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment plans to meet diverse patient needs.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to families, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
