Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Saint Louis, MO. The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include an active SLP license and BLS certification; a Master’s Degree and CCC-SLP are preferred. Travel benefits and comprehensive support are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology; CCC-SLP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluation findings.
• Document progress accurately in EMR and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies and home exercises.
• Maintain infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards during sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality assurance activities.
