Role: The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for assessing and treating patients with speech, hearing, and language deficits.
Responsibilities: Provide skilled speech therapy services following physician orders, evaluate patient needs, set realistic goals to improve communication and swallowing, and modify care plans as needed. Teach patients sound production, voice improvement, and strategies for safe swallowing to enhance their communication and daily functioning.
Qualifications: Must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure or be in the application process, CCC's, and CPR certification. At least one year of professional experience is required.
Skills: Strong assessment and intervention skills, ability to develop personalized therapy plans, and effective communication skills.
