Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Baltimore, Maryland. The role requires evaluating and developing plans of care for patients in the acute care setting, with 30 hours per week and 10-hour shifts.

You will work on diagnosing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders, creating therapy plans, and educating patients and families. BLS and ASHA-SLP certification with state licensing are required; 1 year experience preferred, 6

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• New grads encouraged to apply; 6 months experience may be acceptable for exceptional candidates.
• At least 1 year of experience preferred for travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create individualized therapy plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Document progress and current status according to state/insurance guidelines.
• Report progress to family, teachers, or medical professionals as needed.
