Job summary

TotalMed Allied is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Fargo, North Dakota. The role requires 1 year of experience (6 months acceptable for strong backgrounds) and involves 40 hours per week across 8-hour day shifts in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating speech, language and swallowing disorders, developing care plans, performing screenings, and educating patients and families while maintaining proper documentation and compliance

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP national certification with state licensure

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and prevent speech, language and swallowing disorders.
• Create individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to families, teachers or medical staff as appropriate.
• Provide timely documentation following applicable guidelines.
