Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Glendive, MT. The role focuses on acute care within a long-term care setting, with a start date of 09/14/2026 and guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Weekly pay ranges are provided, and housing/credentialing support is offered where applicable. Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, direct therapy, and discharge planning, all within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligible for licensure.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (or eligible for certification).
• Experience providing SLP services in acute care or long-term care settings; travel experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills; ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and swallow assessments for residents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing communication, cognition, and swallowing safety.
• Provide direct therapy in individual and small-group formats; document progress and adjust goals as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align care plans (nursing, therapy, physicians).
• Manage feeding and swallowing interventions, including texture modification and safety for meals.
• Participate in discharge planning and family/caregiver education; maintain accurate documentation.
