Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care in Willows, CA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, voice, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting. You'll develop individualized plans, perform screenings, and educate patients and families on speech impairments, with thorough documentation to ensure compliance.

This travel, full-time position requires 35 hours per week with daytime shifts; benefits, ongoing CE opportunities, and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of speech-language pathology theories and treatments.
• Ability to develop individualized therapy plans and document progress.
• Experience interpreting assessments and communicating results to families and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and develop plans for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create tailored therapy plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings for speech, voice, and swallowing issues.
• Educate patients and families on speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress and maintain proper documentation.
