Job summary

The VIOS Clinic is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel role to diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, voice, and swallowing disorders within an acute care setting. You will create individualized treatment plans, perform screenings, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate documentation. A minimum of 6 months' experience is required, with ASHA certification, state license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in speech-language pathology; 1 year preferred.
• ASHA certification and a valid state license are required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks in an acute care setting.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Create individualized treatment plans and perform screenings.
• Educate patients and families; report progress and maintain documentation.
• Deliver patient care across diverse populations in acute care.
