Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings to detect communication disorders.
• Educate patients and families on speech disorders and etiologies.
• Report progress to families, teachers, or medical staff as needed.
• Document care following state and insurance guidelines.
