Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Rose City, Michigan. The role involves treating patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments in an acute care setting, with 35 hours per week across 7-hour shifts.

Ideal candidates have 6 months of experience (6 months may be accepted for exceptional backgrounds) and must hold BLS and ASHA-SLP certification with state licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• ASHA SLP Certification and state-specific licensure required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage speech-language disorders.
• Develop individual treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings and document progress per guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and etiologies.
• Provide timely documentation following state and insurance guidelines.
