Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 43‑week assignment at a facility in Beach Park, Illinois. The role requires a start date of 08/10/2026, 40 hours per week, and 8‑hour day shifts in a travel employment setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master’s degree or higher in Speech‑Language Pathology (preferred)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (preferred)
• Speech Language Pathology experience (new graduates welcome)
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on standardized assessments and patient goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and continuously evaluate progress.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and coordinate comprehensive care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe treatment environment.
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities.
• Perform any other duties within the scope of practice.

Essential Skills

• Physical abilities: stationary position, moving equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend
