Responsibilities

• Utilize standardized assessments and clinical observation to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidence‑based practices.
• Continuously assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain detailed documentation in the EMR.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies, home‑based exercises, and safe swallowing practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to remain current with best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and proficient PC skills.
• Physical stamina to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.

• Fine manipulation and technical motor skills for assisting with procedures and equipment.
• Ability to cope with frequent public contact and high‑pressure deadlines; work sometimes under close supervision.
