Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Fortuna, California. The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based plans.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology (preferred).
• CCC-SLP certification (preferred).
• Speech Language Pathology experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Design personalized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Document progress accurately in EMR and coordinate with care teams.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and safe swallowing practices.
