Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Monterey, CA. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

The role offers 12-hour shifts, 38 hours per week, and a range of benefits. Licensure, BLS, and a CCC-SLP are preferred qualifications, with opportunities for growth and travel rewards.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred.
• Clinical experience in speech-language pathology; new grads welcome.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Design individualized therapy plans based on evaluation findings and goals.
• Maintain documentation in EMR and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on therapy strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain safe treatment environments and adhere to infection control protocols.
