Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certificate required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Experience in a hospital setting.
• One year of ultrasound experience preferred.
• Customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ultrasound imaging services according to physician orders.
• Prepare rooms and diagnostic equipment for procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment following safety standards and develop films.
• Educate patients and maintain confidentiality during procedures.
• Assist Radiologists with procedures as needed and document in IDX-Rad.
