Centrica Business Solutions is seeking a Rooftop Solar Installer for a 6-8 week temporary assignment in Stoughton, MA. The role involves installing solar PV systems on commercial structures and traveling to different job sites.

Under the Lead Installer, you will ensure safe installation, map component placement, label wiring, and maintain a clean, organized worksite. A valid driver’s license and basic tool skills are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 years’ experience working in the Commercial Solar Industry.
• Proficient in the use of basic hand and power tools.
• Fall protection training and the use of fall arrest harnesses and equipment.
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to effectively work in a team environment.
• Ability to demonstrate exemplary worth ethics.
• Active Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Configuring, installing, inspecting, and maintaining Solar PV Systems for commercial customers.
• Accurately mapping out the placement of components based on provided diagrams and ensuring weather sealing.
• Leading testing and recording results, following remediation suggestions as needed.
• Assisting in building systems as designed on the Issued for Construction Drawing set.
• Labeling, installing, and terminating electrical wiring and connections.
