Job summary

Centrica Business Solutions US is seeking a Rooftop Solar Installer for temporary labor with travel to commercial sites. You will configure, install, and maintain solar PV systems, follow diagrams for placement, and ensure weatherproofing and safety compliance.

If a full-time role becomes available and you are willing to travel, additional benefits apply upon direct hire. Responsibilities include leading tests with the lead installer, labeling wiring, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in Commercial Solar industry.
• Proficient with basic hand and power tools.
• Fall protection training and harness use.
• Strong problem solving and teamwork abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Driver’s License with clean record.
• Trade/technical training and OSHA 10 are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, inspect, and maintain Solar PV systems on commercial sites.
• Plan component placement from diagrams and seal for weatherproofing per codes.
• Lead testing and implement remediation as directed by lead installer.
• Assist in building systems per construction drawings.
• Label and terminate electrical wiring and connections accurately.
• Communicate with supervision to ensure safety and site organization.
• Maintain current safety certifications and a clean, organized site.
