Job summary

Sanders Brothers Construction is seeking a Soil Stabilization Operator to operate heavy equipment including rollers, brooms, and spreader trucks. Overnight travel across South Carolina may be required. You will support site leadership, maintain equipment, and help with general labor tasks on varied job sites.

The role emphasizes safety, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel up to six days at a time with per diem provided. CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year construction experience required.
• Experience operating earth-moving equipment.
• Must lift up to 40 pounds and work up to 10 hours.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable 3-year MVR.
• Negative drug test before hire and background checks as per policy.
• Overtime, weekends and overnight travel may be required.
• CDL Class A or B is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support site superintendents, equipment operators or other staff.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Travel to SC job sites; overnight stays up to 6 days with per diem.
• Manual material movement and general labor support.
• Keep work site clean and report safety concerns.
• Comply with SBCC safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other general duties as needed.
