Sanders Brothers Construction Company is seeking a dependable Sweeper Truck Driver/Operator to support operations throughout the Charleston area. This role involves driving a CDL broom sweeper truck on scheduled routes servicing road projects, municipalities, and other sites in Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Class A or Class B CDL with an acceptable driving record.
Current DOT Medical Card is required.
Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug screening.
Ability to meet company background check requirements.
Previous experience operating commercial vehicles or construction equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Review routes and communicate with supervisors as needed.
Safely operate the CDL broom sweeper truck on assigned routes and job sites.
Complete scheduled jobs efficiently maintaining high-quality work standards.
Exercise caution and safe driving practices in inclement weather.
Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Maintain DOT driving qualifications and compliance requirements.
Work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed within DOT regulations.
Operate in outdoor environments including dust, noise, mud, rain, and extreme temperatures.
Keep vehicles clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
