Qualifications

• Active Alabama SLP certification and CCC-SLP credential required.
• SLP Educator Certificate required; verify certification and fingerprint status.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred; ability to manage about 60 students.
• Must be able to work onsite across multiple schools in the Birmingham area.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech-language services to students to support academics and social skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs.
• Deliver services at designated school sites (Burkett Preschool, Lipscomb Elementary, Hueytown Middle, Pinson Valley High).
• Maintain accurate records in line with school and district guidelines.
• Apply evidence-based interventions for a diverse student population.
