Sunbelt Staffing in Birmingham, AL is seeking contracted Speech-Language Pathologists to support communication development across multiple school settings for the upcoming year. You will work onsite with a collaborative, student-centered team, serving diverse caseloads from preschool through high school and contributing to IEP-driven goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Alabama SLP certification and SLP Educator Certificate are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver diagnostic and therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 students, preschool through high school.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress.
• Complete assessments, progress reports, and required documentation adhering to district/state guidelines.
• Attend IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with district/state requirements, including background clearances.

Empower students with your expertise by supporting communication development throughout a variety of school settings in the Birmingham area! Contracted Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for the upcoming school year, serving diverse caseloads across several local campuses. Work onsite as part of a collaborative, student-centered team to make a meaningful impact in both early learning and upper-grade programs.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current SLP Certification in Alabama and SLP Educator Certificate (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF)
• Experience in school-based settings highly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently with students, staff, and families
• Willingness to travel between multiple school sites

Primary Responsibilities:
