Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a facility in Kincaid, WV. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires WV licensure and BLS certification, with a Master’s degree and CCC-SLP preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license in WV state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in speech-language pathology preferred; new grads welcome
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders across diverse populations
• Design personalized therapy plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals
• Document progress and maintain EMR records
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care
• Ensure safety and infection control during therapy sessions
• Pursue quality assurance and professional development in speech-language therapy
