Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Midland, Texas. The contract spans 20 weeks, with 40 hours weekly and 8-hour day shifts. Immediate start for an SLP with 6 months of experience (1 year preferred).

Required: ASHA-SLP National Certification with state licensing and BLS. Duties include diagnosing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders, creating therapy plans, and maintaining regulatory documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; 1 year preferred for exceptional candidates.
• Must hold ASHA-SLP National Certification with state licensing.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create and implement therapy plans tailored to patients.
• Perform screenings and document progress per guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about disorders and prognosis.
• Report progress to families, teachers, or medical staff as needed.
• Ensure timely documentation following state and/or insurance rules.
