Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for an acute care hospital assignment in Midland, Texas. The position starts 10/12/2026, lasts 20 weeks, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts. Travel employment requires Texas licensure and 2+ years of SLP experience. Weekend/on-call rotations apply.

Includes bedside swallow evaluations and FEES, with opportunities to use passy-muir valves and adaptive devices. Cerner charting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two+ years as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Texas state licensure required
• BLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment goals
• Administer speech therapy interventions and document progress
• Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary team
• Provide family education on treatment plans and strategies
