Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Fowler, California. The role offers 40 hours per week in a hospital or facility setting with a standard 8-hour shift.

The ideal candidate holds a valid SLP license, current BLS, and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. CCC-SLP is preferred; new grads are welcome to apply and travel benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred; new grads may apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation in the EMR and track progress.
• Educate patients and families on therapy plans and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
