Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Houghton Lake, Michigan. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient outcomes.

The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of AlliedTravelCareers. A valid SLP license and BLS are required; master’s level and CCC-SLP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires valid SLP license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) is required.
• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred, additional licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans with evidence-based practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards during treatment sessions.
