Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist for Fremont, CA. The role involves evaluating and treating Speech-Language pathology needs, creating care plans, and coordinating with patients and care teams in an acute care setting.

The position is a 13-week travel assignment, with 40 hours per week, days shift. Requires ASHA certification, CA licensure, and BLS. Travel experience preferred but new grads may apply with appropriate background.

Qualifications

• Requires ASHA-SLP Certification and California SLP license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience: 1 year minimum (6 months may be considered for exceptional cases).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings and educate patients and families about speech disorders.
• Report progress and communicate with care teams following state guidelines.
