Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Gladwin, Michigan. The role runs for 13 weeks with a 30-hour work week, on days, in an acute care setting.

The SLP will evaluate and treat speech, voice, and swallowing impairments, and plan care for multiple patient populations. Eligible candidates should have at least 6 months to 1 year of experience, BLS, and ASHA-SLP certification with state licensing.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state licensing required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings and document progress per guidelines.
