Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is actively seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Grantsboro, NC. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, delivering individualized therapy plans and collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, documenting progress in EMR, and educating patients and families on effective communication strategies.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license (state-regulated)
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology; CCC-SLP preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Document progress and maintain EMR with detailed notes and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality assurance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
