Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Polysomnographer/Sleep Tech to perform routine and complex sleep studies, data collection, and scoring to assist diagnosis of sleep disorders in healthcare facilities. Travel-based, supporting various sites in the Chicago area.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a biological or physiological sciences field or equivalent experience.
• National Board Registration in EEG, Evoked Potential, or Polysomnography preferred or may be required by regulations.
• Complies with professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate as per contract or regulation.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex sleep procedures to obtain data for diagnosis of sleep disorders.
• Ensure data quality and safety during sleep studies and support the clinical team.
