Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN SICU for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois. The position features a 13‑week assignment with 36 hours per week, on night shifts (12 hours). Start date is ASAP and the travel modality is Travel.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care ICU experience and required certifications such as BLS/ACLS. As an ICU Travel Nurse you will assess and monitor patients, document care, and educate families while supporting the care team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care ICU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in the ICU and provide direct care.
• Document and implement physician-directed care plans and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Provide education and support to patient families; coordinate with care teams.
