Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN SICU for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, Illinois. The role requires an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS/ACLS, and 18 months of SICU experience.

You will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift. This travel assignment offers housing options, weekly pay, credentialing support, and full benefits through a Joint Commission-certified agency.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care SICU setting

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families
• Ensure life-support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes) functions properly
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures to control changes in condition
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively
