Layton Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead daily on-site operations for complex healthcare projects. You will oversee scheduling, procurement, and manpower, coordinating with the Project Manager and craft teams to meet aggressive timelines.

You will supervise direct labor, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance with codes. A long track record as a Superintendent on healthcare builds is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction or equivalent.
• 5+ years relevant project experience in healthcare construction (OSHPD/HCAI).
• 10+ years as a Superintendent preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply codes accurately.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Study specifications to plan procedures and staffing for each phase.
• Develop and use look-ahead schedules with Project Manager.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings and mobilization activities.
• Direct procurement of tools and materials per schedule.
• Meet with subs, clients, and craft personnel to review scope and progress.
• Resolve issues with supervision and labor representatives.
• Inspect progress to ensure conformance with specs and schedules.
• Manage labor cost, crew mixes, and deployments across projects.
• Prepare Project Management Plan in collaboration with PM.
• Ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping standards are followed.
