Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 40-week assignment in Newark, Maryland. The SLP will work in a school setting, collaborating with teachers and parents to support student communication goals.

The role requires a CF SLP or equivalent with a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Responsibilities include assessments, IEP development, direct therapy, progress monitoring, and staff training.

Qualifications

• CF SLP accepted as the minimum qualification.
• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) required.
• Experience in a school setting or pediatrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students with speech and language needs.
• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Train teachers and staff on integrating speech goals into classroom activities.
