Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based travel assignment in Washington, DC. The SLP will collaborate with students, teachers, and families to deliver comprehensive speech-language services to support academic and social development.

The role includes assessments, IEP development, and direct therapy in individual and group settings, with progress monitoring and staff training to integrate therapy goals into classrooms.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
• State license required to start the assignment.
• CCC certification from ASHA preferred.
• Experience in school setting encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students with speech and language needs.
• Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Train teachers and staff on integrating speech therapy goals.
