Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night-shift, 12-hour schedule in Boston, MA. This travel assignment spans 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week, starting October 12, 2026, at a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital.

Responsibilities include critical care across adult ICUs and ED, advanced ventilator management, and on-call expectations. MA license, RRT, and BLS required, with prior trauma center experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license required in MA if applicable.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in critical care.
• Experience in Level 1 trauma, teaching hospital settings and ICU care.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care to critically ill adults across ICU specialties.
• Work in Level 1 trauma teaching hospital environments and ED.
• Utilize ventilator management and care protocols during nights.
