Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a NICU night shift travel assignment in Boston, MA. You will work a 12-hour night shift (3x12hrs), 36 hours per week, for a 13-week contract starting Oct 12, 2026, with one opening.

Requirements include RRT, CPR-AHA and NRP certifications, high school diploma or GED, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in respiratory therapy; NICU experience required. On-site role with rotating nights and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related respiratory therapy work experience
• Must be certified to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, administer aerosolized medications, and provide oxygen therapy
• NICU experience is required; delivery room experience preferred
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Work autonomously across a variety of clinical settings including administration of respiratory care protocols
• Rotate on-call responsibilities every third week
• Rotate through Level 2 and 3 NICU/Special Care Nursery at a birthing hospital
