Healthforce is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) for a Brockton, MA assignment. This travel position runs 13 weeks with a weekly pay range and 36 guaranteed hours, featuring 12-hour night shifts and weekend/holiday coverage.

Requirements include active RRT, MA license, NRP and BLS, plus 3+ years in trauma, NICU Level 3 and adult critical care experience. Local rate options may apply based on distance from the facility.

Qualifikationen

• Active RRT credential.
• Massachusetts Respiratory Care license.
• NRP and BLS certifications.
• 3+ years of trauma facility experience (Level 1 or Level 2).
• NICU Level 3 and adult critical care experience required.
• Proficiency with lung-protective ventilation and Code Blue teams.

Aufgaben

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to critically ill adults in a trauma-level environment, including assessment, planning, and therapy administration.
• Manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation, adjust settings based on patient status and lab results, and apply lung-protective ventilation strategies.
• Collaborate with the Code Blue team during resuscitations and participate in ventilator decision‑making informed by patient assessment and laboratory data.
• Provide airway clearance, bronchodilator treatments, humidification, suctioning, and other modality therapies as indicated; monitor effectiveness.
• Monitor patient response, document care in the medical record, and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensuring safety and sterility of devices and supplies.
