Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for Neuro Diagnostics on the night shift, requiring at least 1 year of adult and pediatric experience. This traveler role features a 3x12 schedule, across-site coverage, and Epic EMR responsibilities. Active BLS/ACLS/RRT certifications are required, with PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Respiratory Therapy
• Adult experience required with some pediatric exposure
• Active BLS, ACLS, and RRT certifications required; PALS preferred

Responsibilities

• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 18:30-07:00
• Weekend requirement of 6 shifts every 6 weeks, with Fri and Sat night shifts
• Voluntary call coverage
• May float within site and across system as requested
• Epic EMR experience required
• Provide respiratory and neuro diagnostic services as part of the care team
• 2-3 holidays preferred, negotiable with traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, no RTO during first 2 weeks
• Candidates may not reside within 50 miles of any facility within the system
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as traveler
• Pre-start modules, skills testing, and competency activities required (4-8 hours)
• COVID vaccination required with no exemptions accepted
• First-time travelers will be considered
