Job summary

Proforma Health Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments to support underserved communities. The role emphasizes comprehensive patient care across all nursing phases, with collaboration among physicians and health professionals to optimize outcomes.

The position requires an active RN license, 1+ year of nursing experience with 6 months in travel nursing, and a degree in nursing. Travel distance requirements and adherence to ethical standards are specified.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Unencumbered RN license in the practicing state or multistate licensure.
At least one year of nursing experience and six months of travel nursing experience.
Residency at least 60 miles from the assigned facility.
Required competencies and certifications maintained as per department standards.

Responsibilities

Utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide personalized patient care.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians, to plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
Delivering care across all phases—from prevention and health maintenance to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
Managing patient assessments, education, triage, and various nursing interventions within the scope of practice.
Practicing according to state licensure standards, the Nurse Practice Act, and the American Nurses Association’s Code of Ethics.
