Job summary

Health, Inc is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments to serve underserved communities. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive patient care, collaborating with physicians, and coordinating treatment across all care phases.

The position requires an accredited nursing education, an active RN license (state or multistate), and at least one year of nursing plus six months of travel experience. Benefits include Sanford health plans and opportunities to work at multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid RN license in the practicing state or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• At least one year of nursing experience and six months of travel experience.
• Residency at least 60 miles from the facility location.
• Required competencies and certifications maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians, to coordinate and evaluate patient care.
• Delivering care across all phases, from prevention and health maintenance to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Managing patient assessments, education, triage, and various nursing interventions within the scope of practice and licensure.
• Practicing according to standards outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association’s Code of Ethics.
