Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Step Down/PCU night shift position in Columbus, Ohio. Requires at least 1 year of RN experience and an active OH license. The unit focuses onStep Down/PCU with adult and geriatric populations and a variety of surgical cases.

You will work night shifts (3x12 hours), with floating within the OSU system and required BLS/ACLS certification. This is a teaching hospital setting offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience
• Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and telemetry required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Step Down/PCU setting
• Participate in rapid response and code team activations
• Floating within OSU system as needed
• Assist with wound care and insulin protocols as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital setting
